What is “Maskne” and how do we get rid of it?

The term has recently come about since face masks have become the new norm, and with that comes a new issue for wearer. Wearing a face mask has left many with breakouts and clogged pores from prolonged wearing.

Here are some of our favourite skincare product we have available that we’ve been using to keep our skin calm.

White Rabbit Lavender & Apricot glycolic cleansing cream:

Our Glycolic Cleanser acts as an exfoliator without any physically abrasive additives or nasty non-naturally derived chemicals.  This amazing product contains glycolic acid, which is naturally occurring natural substance derived from Sugar Cane.

As an AHA Acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) It's structure means that it works on the surface layers of your skin; breaking down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together - in short it is the Holy Grail of exfoliation!

Upcircle Face Mask:

A gently-detoxifying face mask to fight blackheads, minimise pores and prevent breakouts. Skin is left feeling cleansed, refreshed and balanced.

Reused, repurposed, reloved. This face mask is made with the finely-ground powder of discarded olive stones, a natural by-product of the olive oil industry and a powerful anti-inflammatory.

This clarifying face mask is suitable for all skin types. The olive powder is combined with rejuvenating white kaolin clay, coconut powder and baobab oil.

Rosewater Face Spray:

Rose water has been used as a beauty product for thousands of years, so it's no surprise that it can improve your complexion and reduce skin redness. The antibacterial properties may help reduce acne. The anti-inflammatory properties can reduce skin redness and puffiness.

Lightly spray your face throughout the day to hydrate and refresh your skin.

Bonus tip:

Don’t forget that regular washing of your face mask is also very important & drinking plenty of water to keep your skincare hydrated.
