How We Created Our New Store Sustainably
After a long few months, our new store is finally open!
Sustainability can sometimes get a bad rep for being boring and unadventurous, and our Founder Paul wanted the shop interior to show our customers that there is nothing boring about sustainability. We worked with L'Estrange Designs to bring our vision to life, and we've created a space that we hope you will love as much as we do.

Concrete Floors

For the floors, we used the existing concrete base which was underneath the lino the previous tenant had down. The concrete was polished and sealed to create a smooth finish and showing the flecks of stone in the concrete We love that you can see the original material and that the cracks in the concrete create a perfectly imperfect finish.

Light Fixtures
Our light fixtures are made with recycled hard-pressed plastic from the humble kitchen cast-off aka. your yoghurt pot!
Birch ply
We used birch ply to create our free-standing display units and some other units throughout the store. Birch trees are a fast-growing species native to northeastern Europe. Grown in an abundance and with the speed of growth making birch plywood a sustainable choice that has minimal impact on the environment.
Our new store is located on Sarsfield Street Limerick, and we are open Monday-Saturday 8.30 am - 5. 30 pm and Sundays 10 am - 5.30 pm.
We're looking forward to seeing you in-store!
